LIFEWISE  ACADEMY

LifeWise Academy Bible education for public school children in 7th Grade at Maysville has come to Rolling Plains Church.  This is a community-wide partnership that will be meeting at Rolling Plains.  The Leadership Board has volunteer opportunities with teaching, driving the bus, and other behind the scenes assistance, along with financial assistance and most importantly prayer support.  Please contact Keely Kirkbride, keelykirkbride@lifewise.org, with questions.  These are exciting times!

S.  ZANESVILLE FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEERS

The S. Zanesville Food Pantry needs volunteers Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 AM to Noon.  These are the days they are open and serve clients.  The need is to add one extra person each day.  There are other opportunities to help unloading trucks and stocking that occur throughout the month also. If you are interested volunteering, or want more information please contact Dean Holtsclaw (440) 829-4929.

BLOOD  PRESSURE  VOLUNTEERS

We would like to begin offering blood pressure checks following both services each Sunday.  If you are a nurse, EMT, or someone who is trained on how to do this, please let us know if you are willing to volunteer on a rotating basis.  Please contact Jeff Howard (Jeff@rollingplainsgmc.com) if you are interested in helping with this project.

SERVING  FOOD @  SALVATION  ARMY

A group emerged from Rolling Plains this year with a desire to serve meals at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen Monday – Friday from 3:15 – 5:00 PM.  We would like to add volunteers to the team.  One day a month, one day a week, or whatever availability you have.

HE-BREWS  CAFE  VOLUNTEERS

We have two wonderful volunteer opportunities in He-Brews Café:
We need volunteers to periodically donate cookies or other sweets.
We also need a few extra volunteers to bring out the goodies, coffee, etc. and to help clean up.
You can come in for early service or late service.  This is a very flexible opportunity.  Please see Vickie Franklin or call her at (740) 297-1981 if you have questions or would like to volunteer.

VOLUNTEERING WITH FAMILY MINISTRIES

RP Family Ministries needs you!  We are looking to add to our volunteer teams to minister to our growing group of children.  Among needs in the nursery and other areas, we especially need help in our children’s classrooms on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings.

MY  LITTLE  PANTRY

My Little Pantry is located at the entrance of our parking lot.  It is a box for folks who would like to donate food items to those who may have less than they need for their family. You can drop items off in the container in the Lobby, and we will make sure it gets put in the Pantry.  You are also welcome to place any food items in the pantry yourself.
